GeoffGeoff Stewart comes from a background of trades and real estate. He started investing in real estate in the 1990s and has been successful ever since. As the director of the company, Geoff’s role is to inspire and manage others to work at their highest level.

A hands-on landlord himself, he also supervises property maintenance for APR. Geoff is outstanding in problem-solving, helping customers in a professional and attentive manner, and is both tactful and assertive when necessary in dealing with people.

A graduate of the University of Waikato where she gained a Marketing Degree, Dorothy Zhou has been involved in Property Management for more than a decade. In this time, Dorothy has built a reputation within the industry for being professional and diligent and has developed great local knowledge about Hamilton City.

Dorothy is highly organised with excellent communication skills. She enjoys a challenge, is multi-lingual and has a good understanding of the multi-cultural aspects of Hamilton’s rental market. Her great advantage is in building bridges between different cultures to maximise the profit for your rental. An efficient, energetic and measured approach is the signature of her style.

As a property investor herself, Dorothy understands the importance of selecting the best tenants at the best possible rent and is focused on offering a hassle-free service to landlords. Dorothy also believes in tailored service to suit the wide-ranging needs of landlords and strives to provide the best customer service with a personal touch and in a professional manner.





With 12 years of experience in the Property Management field, our office manager Carol is a very experienced and valued member of our team.

Apart from organizing daily maintenance and managing Trust A/C for our landlords, Carol also supervises the work of property manager and administrative staff to ensure a smooth workflow for APR.  Additionally, Carol works with Julia to ensure all our rental properties to comply with the Healthy Home Regulations.

Dealing with the public and working with different parties, a property management company can experience many stressful and demanding situations. Carols’ calm attitude and excellent communication skills make her the perfect role for dealing with correspondence, complaints and queries.  Carol always effectively liaises between landlords & tenants and endeavours to find a solution that is pleasing to both.

Alison moved to Hamilton in 2016 after spending two years in Auckland. Prior to that, she graduated in South Africa with an honours degree in fine arts, majoring in photography and printing.

She worked in the real estate industry for publications and was a Property Manager before becoming a full-time mum to twin boys. With her wide range of expertise, Alison has a keen eye for detail and is also skilled with website interfaces.

She aims to provide an enriching experience to those she meets inside and outside APR. She believes problems can be solved with the right attitude and a friendly approach. Working alongside a dedicated maintenance team and on the road doing inspections, Alison assists both landlords and tenants for continued successful relationships.







After becoming a tenant of Action Property Rentals, Seth impressed the firm by presenting himself with his thoroughness, maturity and integrity. Seth was invited to join the team in Feb 2020 as a role of Personal Assistant. His calm mature, grounded attitude and humble manner soon won him great popularity among the team and clients.


Apart from working with APR, Seth is currently completing his Bachelor of Computer Science at The University of Waikato. His IT background enabled him to master the management and inspection programs instantly. His talent in mathematics grants him a great advantage when it comes monitoring rents and statistics.

Additionally, being Waikato born & raised background provides Seth the local knowledge required for the job and better understanding on the current rental market. Along his colleagues Seth looks forward to providing a professional and pleasant experience for APR clients




Julia GasstonJulia is our administrative assitant who specialises in the Healthy Home Standards. Alongside her work with APR, Julia is currently completing her PhD in Statistics at the University of Waikato. 

Julia is well organised and pays attention to detail.  Remaining calm in stressful situations and being respectful to all clients make Julia a perfect candidate for the role. Her excellent IT knowledge and outstanding research skills are bonus to the team.  Along with her colleagues, Julia is eager to build professional relationships with APR landlords and tenants.


Away from the computer, Julia enjoys travel, the outdoors and a good book. She also plays lacrosse at the international level, competing for New Zealand at the last Women’s Lacrosse World Cup in 2017.









Jordan with name and title

Jordan graduated from the University of Waikato with a Bachelor of Business Analysis (Accounting) and is now working towards obtaining her chartered accountancy with a reputable professional services firm in Hamilton.

She is returning to APR in a business development capacity and brings a fresh perspective to the team. Her previous experience with APR ensures a smooth transition into the role where she is eager to progress and expand on core areas of the business.

Outside of work she enjoys making the most of her weekends whether being in the forest mountain biking, on the lake enjoying water sports or down the mountain snowboarding.

Jordan is excited to continue to working alongside the APR team to deliver high quality service to landlords and tenants. 





Martin with name and titleMartin’s background experiences include building homes, developing farm and lifestyle blocks with a view for subdivision. Martin holds a real estate licence and he used to sell rural and lifestyle blocks in Queensland Australia while he used his handyman skills assisting his real estate career.

Upon returning to Hamilton in 2006, Martin began renovating and selling homes as well as being a project manager for a local school.

Martin joined APR as a maintenance manager in 2017. His maintenance skills and “can do” attitude is a great asset to APR clients. His friendly, reliable and proactive approach makes him very popular amongst landlords and tenants.  Martin has an eye for detail and he always seeks for solutions for both parties while working on jobs.

Martin has a heart of gold and he donates 80% of his income from APR to help students in developing countries. Martin's financial support has lead to many students having the opportunity to obtain tertiary qualifications.

Martin’s commitment to look after the landlords’ properties and the tenants’ interests is valuable and greatly appreciated.
